I did it for two reasons, firstly when we move to France I will have to do it and secondly it gives you control so that heavily pregnant girls can wait etc. It is also great when they look good.
Not so good when you cut them though, thats horrible. Only one needed stitching but still it makes you want to punch yourself in the face.Patou Alpacashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05402584864992426742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3155763594244681411.post-19405183081594444612008-07-30T22:10:00.000+01:002008-07-30T22:10:00.000+01:00Jeez Mark shouldn't you have gone to hozzy to get ...Jeez Mark shouldn't you have gone to hozzy to get the thing sewn back on?!

Reading about your shearing experiences has been very interesting though. I must say it's no fun being at the mercy of the schedule of the touring Antipodean shearing/cricket?! teams - great shearers though they are. At least you have the thing under your own control. Makes me want to have a crack - trouble is I don't have a shearing sensei to instruct me. I do know a pro sheep shearer though so maybe.....

And you say you're finished for the season? What about the crias - need to get a nice even fleece on them for next show season!

Cheers - Gerry, Coire AlpacasGerryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10900382956672330063noreply@blogger.com
